“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” (Phil 4:13)
I used to only look at that verse and think that it was a nice sentiment, but as of late, they’ve been just words that I had memorized since I was four years old. Now, I’ve had an epiphany, the words were as true when I was a child, and they are true now, i just haven’t been listening. I’ve been living my life thinking that I can handle everything on my own and whatever problems I face will be sorted out when it’s time. Though that is still true (that things take time), I was going about ‘solving’ my problems by just ignoring them and then getting mad when I was reminded that things weren’t going my way. I realize that there will be times when things are out of my control and honestly, that’s okay, because God is always there, waiting. I might not get the answer I want, which, recently, I haven’t been, but I now know that what I wanted wasn’t His plan for me, and maybe there is something waiting in the wings. My trying to handle things that are out of my control has gotten me nowhere, and i realize this now. I have to trust in Him that he will send something or someone my way to steer me back, and tonight, He did.

THIS FEELS SO LONG AGO. I mean, it was like a year and a half ago, but feels longer. This was so funny, though. Still is. I love this cast.
